Placement of order and payment

Is it possible to physically see the products on display?

Sorry, we do not currently have any products on display. All our products are available in our online shop with product photos, drawings, detailed descriptions, and assembly instructions, which can be found on each product card.

Do you manufacture/modify products to individual order? Do you make individual orders or modify products according to customer requirements?

Unfortunately, we do not manufacture or modify our products to individual orders. All of our products available in the online shop are already manufactured and ready for shipment.

How long does it take to produce products and process an order?

All our products are ready in our warehouses and packed for delivery. We process orders very efficiently, so your order will be dispatched within 1-2 working days from the moment it is paid for.

Are invoices issued?

Yes, we invoice within 2-3 working days after the order is dispatched.

I am an EU VAT payer. Can I expect an invoice with 0% VAT?

Yes, if you are an EU VAT payer and have an EU-recognised VAT number, we can invoice you at 0% VAT. However, it is important that you inform us of this before making and paying for your order. To do this, please contact us at sale@timbela.com. We will be able to provide you with the necessary information to enable you to take advantage of this option.

What is included in the product price?

On each product card, you will find a “What’s included” section, which gives a complete list of the parts and accessories included in the product.

I entered the wrong details when placing my order. What should I do?

If you have provided incorrect details at the time of ordering, it is important to contact the sales team as soon as possible at sale@timbela.com. We will be able to assist you and check if the data can be corrected. It is important to resolve this situation as soon as possible to avoid any misunderstandings or problems later in the order process.

What are the possible payment methods? Can I pay cash on delivery?

There are 4 ways to pay for goods on our website: bank transfer, Paysera, Stripe (various types of credit cards), PayPal.

Cash on delivery is not available.

Returns and warranty

Can I return the product?

In accordance with the laws in force in the Republic of Lithuania, ordered goods can be returned to us within 14 days from the date of receipt of the goods, without giving any reason.

However, it is important to note that the buyer is responsible for the return of the product and the details of the associated return costs. For more information on the full terms and conditions for returning a product, please see the “Return and Replacement” page of our website. This page will provide details of the return procedure and requirements.

What if the delivered product is broken or damaged in transit?

The copy of the courier’s delivery note must be marked if the goods were delivered in an unsuitable condition and must indicate any damage to the consignment caused by improper transport.

If the Buyer notices any damage to the consignment or any discrepancy in the quantity or quality of the goods, the Buyer must not accept the consignment and must note this on the bill of lading. If the Buyer accepts the consignment and signs the consignment note without any remarks, it shall be deemed that the consignment is free from defects and that the quantity and quality of the goods are in conformity with the terms of the contract of sale and purchase. If you find any damaged parts after unpacking, please make sure to take photos and send them to us at  sale@timbela.com .

Is there a guarantee for the products?

The products sold are covered by a 2-year (24-month) service period as stated in the product description. The warranty starts on the date of the invoice following the purchase of the product. In order to benefit from this guarantee, the Buyer must inform the Seller in writing of any damage, defect or other reason for rejection of the goods by email to sale@timbela.com . In the event of any defect or damage to the goods, the Buyer must provide detailed photographs of the goods showing the damage.

When you purchase our recommended water-based wood preservatives and treat our wooden products with them, you get an additional 1-year warranty on the wooden parts of the product!

Are additional parts available?

Additional parts are not sold separately. If you have broken a part due to careless use of the product, please contact sale@timbela.com .

Order delivery

Is order tracking possible?

Yes, order tracking is possible. Each order is given an individual tracking number. If you have not received an email with your order tracking information, you can contact the sales team at sale@timbela.com  and we will provide you with the necessary information to track your order. This will help you keep track of the status of your order and know when you can expect delivery.

I want to place an order but the delivery address is not found. What should I do?

If you have been informed that no delivery address was found when you entered your delivery address, please contact sale@timbela.com

Is it possible to change the delivery address?

Yes, it is possible to change the delivery address before the order has been dispatched. If your order has already been dispatched, you will not be able to change the delivery address.

Therefore, if you need to change your delivery address, you must contact our managers at sale@timbela.com as soon as possible to inform them of your wishes. They will be able to check the status of your order and, if the goods have not yet been dispatched, help you change the delivery address.

What are the delivery prices?

Free delivery in Lithuania (except Curonian Spit) and Latvia.

For orders from other European Union countries, you will find out the exact delivery costs when you add the product to your shopping cart and enter your delivery address. This will allow you to find out exactly how much it will cost to deliver to your location.

Is it possible to collect the product from the factory yourself?

Due to the bulky nature of the cargo and the high occupancy of the production base, access to the production base is restricted, making it impossible to pick up the cargo oneself.

Do you deliver to islands in the European Union?

Yes, we can deliver to some islands in the European Union for an additional fee.

They will provide you with more detailed information on delivery conditions and prices for these territories. (Please note that you cannot select delivery to the islands of the European Union directly in the e-shop.)

Additional services

Do you provide additional services such as assembling, impregnation, foundation installation, etc.?

Sorry, but we do not provide services for the assembly, preparation for use and preparation of the base.

Product assembly information

How long does it take to assemble the house?

The time it takes to assemble a house can vary depending on the number of people involved and their skill level.

However, on our website, you can find the estimated assembly time for a product assembled by two people. This gives some indication of the time involved, but the final assembly time may depend on the specific conditions and the skills of the individuals.

How to assemble wooden products? Do the sheds arrive assembled?

Each wooden shed comes with clear assembly instructions so you can easily assemble your house. Yes, the products we deliver are unassembled, but the instructions should help you to assemble them without too much difficulty.

If you have any questions or need further assistance, you can contact our customer service team, who will be able to provide you with the information and advice you need.

I have lost/damaged the product assembly instructions. Where can I find it?

If you have lost or damaged the product assembly instructions, you can find it on our website on the product card, under the section “What is included in the product package?”. Here you will find the necessary assembly instructions to help you assemble the product correctly.

What do you recommend to prepare the base for the house?

The garden shed must be on a flat and level surface. It is recommended to install a concrete or paving stone base for the products. A moisture barrier is recommended between the foundation and the hut, and anchors are recommended to protect the product from strong winds. We do not provide foundation installation and preparation services.

Do not build your wooden house on grass or the ground!

First the shed is build, or is it the floor?

Which part of the product is assembled first, the floor or the shed, depends on the specific model of the house and the steps in the assembly instructions. It is therefore best to refer to the assembly instructions for the specific caravan, which contain detailed information on the correct sequence and process of assembly.

What type of roofing do you offer, is there a choice of colour?

Most of our products come with a grey bituminous roof covering for the roof of a wooden house. However, it should be noted that this coating is not a long-term solution for roof protection. For better protection of the roof against adverse weather conditions, we recommend the bituminous roof tile kits we sell, which are tailored to protect the roof of a garden house.

These tiles are available in five different colours: black, green, red, brown and grey. The wide choice of colours allows you to choose the colour that best suits your environment.

What tools are needed to assemble the shed?

When building a shed, you may need the following tools that are not included in the cabin: a saw, a screwdriver, a rubber mallet, a spirit level, a tape measure, a drill, and a ladder.

Do you need a building permit to build a house?

Building laws are different in each European Union country, so we recommend that you consult your local authorities or building experts before buying a house or starting construction work to find out whether you will need to obtain a building permit and how all the necessary procedures work. This will help avoid potential legal problems and ensure that the construction project is carried out in compliance with all legal and safety regulations.

Product maintenance

What product to choose for the impregnation of the house?

Our products are made of natural wood and are not impregnated, so we recommend using special wood preservatives to protect your garden house from moisture, mold, and other unfavorable factors. You can buy impregnants in our shop in the product category “Garden house accessories”. This will help you to ensure the long-term protection of your wooden caravan. By purchasing our recommended water-based wood preservatives and treating our wooden products with them, you get an additional 1-year warranty on the wooden parts of the product!

It is important to note that the floors of garden huts are in almost all cases already impregnated (with the exception of the floors of garden offices, wooden sales kiosks, and wooden children’s playhouses).

What are the possible effects of moisture on wooden products?

Our products are made from natural dried wood. If the product is not impregnated, it can start to rot and mold, which can lead to cracks in the walls and distortions in the roof and structure of the house. It is therefore important to ensure that wooden products are properly protected against moisture by using wood preservatives or other protective measures to avoid these undesirable effects.

Periodic wood preservation (every 2 years) also protects the house against fungi, insects, and blackening.

 

General questions about products

What are the properties of the natural dried wood from which our products are made?

The wood used in our products is of high quality, with low and fine branching and smooth and light color.

It is important to understand that wood is a natural raw material that varies according to natural weather conditions. These natural characteristics of wood may cause small cracks and discoloration, but these are not defects, they are natural characteristics of wood. The small gaps that appear between the boards are also a reaction to the natural material. With the right treatment and some time, the ‘walk’ of the wood settles down.

Due to the natural properties of the wood, the dimensions of the products may vary by 1-2 mm.

Where are the garden and playhouses made?

The wooden products are made in Lithuania from high-quality dried and planed FSC® C110730 certified pine/fir.

What does the letter "F" next to the model house mean?

The letter “F” next to the model number indicates that the product is available with a higher-quality enforced wood panel door. 34 mm thick door frame. This type of door is less susceptible to natural warping of the wood and stronger and comes with a lock.
The wide door makes it easy to store bulky items inside, while the plexiglass windows provide natural daylight.

What does the letter "C" next to the model house mean?

The letter “C” next to the model number indicates that the product is supplied with a door that has a distinctive elongated window design in the door. These windows are vertical. Window dimension: 21 x 65 cm.

What windows are included with the house?

The windows of all models (except the garden offices) are made of Plexiglas and do not open.
The windows in the garden offices are made from glass and are openable.

What thickness of wood do we produce?

Our garden houses are made from 17 mm and 19 mm thick wood. Our children’s playhouses are available in 13 mm and 19 mm wood.

Are children's wooden products for public use?

Playhouses, tables, and other children’s accessories are for private use. They are not certified for use in public places such as kindergartens, schools, playgrounds, and other similar places.
